MARIA EUGENIA BIEBERACH SANCHEZ, ballet dancer and teacher, studied at Higher College of Ballet in Lima, Peru and graduated with honors. She was awarded a scholarship to pursue further training at the Teatro Colón in Buenos Aires, Argentina. After being a company dancer at the Ballet Municipal de Lima Peru under Lucy Telge for a year, she became a lecturer at the same company. She was a Soloist at the National Ballet de Peru for 17 years.

She studied Pedagogics in Santiago de Chile. She was evaluated by the Royal Academy of Dance in Great Britain and received a distinction with honors. She has been a lecturer and teacher in several ballet schools in Peru. She was Ballet Mistress at Artisan School of Dance in Houston for about eight years total, during which she also served as guest teacher at the Western Ballet summer program in Mountain View, CA. She left briefly to teach at San Jose Ballet School, but returned to Houston and continued her post at Artisan School of Dance for her final 5.5 years.

She’s choreographed many dances in Acts I and II of The Nutcracker, Sleeping Beauty, and Coppelia. She also worked at TKB Center for Ballet and Dance, which was owned by Tina Kay Bohnstedt. She currently works with Spark Create, where she’s choreographed for Snow White and Sleeping Beauty.
