ABOUT

Ages 8+

The Vitacca Artists Performance Company (VAPC) functions as a preparatory company to cultivate young dancers in an enriching environment through both technical training and performance opportunities. Dancers ages 8+ are selected by audition and train/rehearse in the Vitacca Vocational Training Program or Children's Program. A typical season will include three showcase and/or competitive events, two community performances, and Vitacca’s annual Dance Soiree in May.

    • Dancers must be ages 8+ with at least two years of ballet training

    • Dancers will be required to train exclusively at Vitacca Ballet & School for Dance, Houston or The Woodlands beginning in the fall term

    • Weekly Training Requirements – three (3) ballet classes, one (1) jazz class (or contemporary jazz), one (1) rehearsal period. Recommended elective training – tap class

    • Dancers must be available for August choreography workshop (date/time available at time of acceptance)

    • Dancers are required to perform in Vitacca’s annual production of The Nutcracker in November

  • VAPC 1

    • Weekly Rehearsal: Wed. 6:30-7:00pm & 7:45–8:45pm

    VAPC 2

    • Weekly Rehearsal: Wed. 7:45–8:45pm

  • 2024/25

    Monthly Tuition

    • VAPC Soloists: $235 a month (By invite)

    • VAPC Ensemble Only: $185 a month

    • Includes: weekly rehearsals, ensemble choreography, additional rehearsals as needed, director fees, and event coordination

    One Time Wardrobe Fee: $240

    Registration Fees for Competition, Convention, or Showcase: (varies per event; Vitacca will likely attend three events each season)

    Vitacca general registration fee $65; Each sibling registration fee $35

    Above fees are in addition to monthly training tuition. Please note, all tuition and fees are non-refundable.

    TUITION PAYMENT

    We now accept registration payments through Zelle! Scan the QR code (linked below) in your banking app to send money to pay. Please include a memo that notes what you are paying for. Click here to pay

    Division training costs (tuition) is based on a 35-week season and divided into ten payments from July through April. Tuition is invoiced on the 25th of the preceding month and late on the 2nd of the month. Exception – December installment will be invoiced on the 30th. Month to month registration is not allowed.

TO AUDITION
