Vitacca’s Pre-Professional Program offer an advanced training opportunity for dancers ages 11 to 19 within our Vocational Training Programs. These training opportunities provide the foundation for professional dance careers through offerings such as a cohesive schedule, multiple performance opportunities through the Studio Company, private coaching and our Day Training Program. Pre-Professional dancers are offered Fall and Spring mentorship meetings. Vitacca Pre-Professional Studio Company and Day Program dancers are invited to audition to take the stage annually within Vitacca Ballet’s The Nutcracker and select dancers are invited to participate in Youth America Grand Prix as well as ADCIBC. The Vitacca Day Training Program can be joined with Vitacca’s Advanced Evening classes or with the community dancer’s home studio training program.

NEW 2025-2026 SEASON - The Woodlands Ballet Day Program

Vitacca Ballet is thrilled to launch The Woodlands Ballet Day Training Program — an exclusive opportunity for advanced dancers ages 11–18.

Train two days a week under the direction of acclaimed Ballet Mistress, Ana Moreira, alongside the expert Vitacca Faculty, in a rigorous schedule that includes:

9:30-11:00 Technique
11:00-12:00 Pointe
12:00-12:45 Character

This high-level training program is open to the community and is an excellent complement to the Vitacca Advanced Evening Class Schedule or a dancer’s home studio schedule. Submit your interest here!

Students in our Pre-Professional Divisions are placed through an assessment class (required for new students), which may be scheduled at any time. Or through Video Audition. Please see video audition outline here:
- Dancer introduction with full name and program for which they are auditioning
- Four to five barre exercises (one side)
- Center adagio including développé a la seconde on both right and left, and en dehors pirouette
- Center pointe work including a pirouette, pique arabesque, and extension of choice

Vitacca offers ongoing training enrollment by assessment class. Dancers are welcome to schedule an assessment class (required for new students) at any time.
Dancers wishing to join a Vitacca performance company or a scholarship program must audition for review and acceptance. Auditions occur annually between April and August– please see our Auditions page for updates.
Registration Fee: Due at time of registration - $75 (dancer 1), $60 (dancer 2), $50 (dancer 3)
Training costs (tuition) is based on a 35-week season and divided into ten payments from Registration through April. Tuition is invoiced on the 25th of the preceding month and late on the 2nd of the month. Month to month registration is not allowed.
10 payments/installments Registration through April. All tuition and fees are non-refundable.
- Advanced Evening Training Tuition found on Division registration forms.
- Day Program Tuition (includes two days) - $4200 Annual | $420 at 10 installments. *Private coaching by sign up. fees apply
- Studio Company dancers pay company dues and additional studio company Pre-Professional Program fees may include: Wardrobe (one time fee), Rehearsal Tutu Rental (one time fee), YAGP Registration & Director fee (by invitation), Private Coaching Sessions (highly recommended, but not mandatory)

Payments:
- Zelle accepted at time of Pre-Registration/Registration. Scan the QR code (linked below) in your banking app to send money to pay. Please include a memo that notes what you are paying for. Click here to pay
- Tuition Installments 2-10 to be paid through QuickBooks Invoice and/or Credit Card on file by the 25th of each month.
Pre-Professional dancers must train six weeks over the summer, including two weeks at either Vitacca Dance, Woodlands and/or Vitacca Dance, Houston. Pre-Professional dancers that train less than two weeks at Vitacca Dance will be reevaluated for the following season’s division placement.
